How GrantOS Works

GrantOS is designed around one idea: the best grant narratives come from organizations that deeply know themselves and their community. Every section of this platform was built to capture that knowledge โ€” and put it to work.

The Workflow โ€” How Everything Connects

Each section feeds into the next. The more complete your inputs, the stronger your generated narrative.

The Golden Thread

Organization Brain + Community Profile = Context ยท RFP Import = Direction ยท Generate โ†’ Score โ†’ Submit

The platform is designed as a loop, not a checklist. Build your Organization Brain once, keep it current. Add community data once, refresh it each grant cycle. Import each new RFP as it arrives. The narrative generation and scoring get better every time you refine the inputs.

What Each Section Does

๐Ÿง
Organization Brain Foundation

Your organization's living profile โ€” mission, programs, populations served, outcomes, leadership, and financial health. This is the foundation everything else draws from. Without it, you get generic AI output. With it, you get grant language that actually sounds like your organization.

Connects to: Every generated narrative section โ€” Claude reads your Organization Brain first, every time.
๐Ÿ—บ
Community Profile Live Data

Real SDOH (Social Determinants of Health) data for your county โ€” poverty rates, housing instability, transportation barriers, health access, education gaps, and demographic context โ€” compared against state and national averages. Funders want evidence of community need. This page pulls live data from the U.S. Census Bureau and CDC so you don't have to hunt it down. Select the metrics most relevant to your work and they get injected into every Need Statement you generate.

Connects to: Generate โ€” selected metrics appear in Need Statement and Executive Summary sections automatically.
๐Ÿ“‹
RFP Import Time Saver

Paste the text of any funder's RFP or grant guidelines. Claude reads it, extracts the key requirements โ€” deadline, focus areas, required sections, eligibility, and special instructions โ€” then hands all of it to the generator pre-filled. Most grant writers spend hours decoding RFPs before writing a single word. This cuts that step down to seconds, and ensures the narrative is built around what the funder actually asked for.

Connects to: Generate โ€” automatically pre-fills funder name, focus areas, priorities, and required sections.
โœ๏ธ
Generate Writing Engine

The writing engine. Select which sections you need โ€” Executive Summary, Need Statement, Program Description, Goals & Objectives, Evaluation Plan, Budget Narrative, and more. Claude uses everything from your Organization Brain, Community Profile, and RFP Import together to write grant-ready language. This isn't a blank AI prompt. It's a structured workflow that produces narratives grounded in your actual organization and your actual community data.

Connects to: Pulls from Organization Brain + Community Profile + RFP Import. Feeds into Score for review and refinement.
๐ŸŽฏ
Score Feedback

Paste any narrative โ€” one you generated here or wrote yourself โ€” and get structured AI feedback: alignment to funder priorities, strength of your Need Statement, quality of evidence, and specific suggestions for improvement. Even strong writers benefit from a second read. Score catches gaps before the funder does, and gives you concrete direction for your next revision.

Connects to: Use after Generate to review output, then loop back to Generate to refine and improve.
